Job Description

Adams & Martin Group is currently seeking a talented and motivated corporate M&A associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, with experience representing clients in a variety of corporate transactions. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex deals, collaborate with seasoned attorneys, and contribute to the success of our clients in the dynamic world of corporate law.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all aspects of M&A transactions, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and closing deals
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on corporate law and regulatory matters
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates on deal structuring, strategy, and execution
  • Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with key stakeholders
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on corporate governance, securities law compliance, and other corporate matters
  • Assist with business development efforts, including client pitches and presentations

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing
  • 5+ years of experience practicing corporate law, with a focus on M&A transactions preferred
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, securities regulations, and corporate governance principles
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and building strong client relationships
